Now in it's 2nd year, acclaimed comedy group FACE OFF presents it's latest creation BATSU! - a comedy Japanese game show; where players compete in hilarious improvised games and challenges, suffering the punishments for failure! Sit back and enjoy the schadenfreude! Selected audience members may participate with signed waiver. However, if you fail, there will punishment...or BATSU! Come to historic St. Marks, laugh your FACE OFF, and maybe even be a part of the show!

In the event of a sold out performance, only those with a reservation will be guaranteed admission. House opens at 7pm; Reservations can be made for between 7pm-7:45pm. Reservations: 212.388.1313. Tickets may be purchased at the door (if available). It is highly recommended to arrive before 7:45pm in order to complete waivers to be considered for audience participation. Must be at least 18 to sign up for challenges. By signing waiver, you assume all risk involved in participating and consent to the release of your likeness for any purpose by Face Off Unlimited. Signing a waiver does not guarantee that you will be selected to participate in the show. Face Off Unlimited reserves the absolute right to select all participants. The Queens Player’s in Association with Face Off Unlimited Present Sketchy LIC: A Sketch Comedy Competition
In the past Long Island City was known for prostitution, gangsters, and muggings... Now it’s simply known as Sketchy LIC.
What is Sketchy LIC? An exciting, new ongoing sketch comedy competition, bringing the funniest sketch comedy teams in NYC, to the vibrant and growing Long Island City comedy scene.
Specifically What? Three teams, each presenting 20 minutes of original sketches, will battle it out for the chance to win a fully produced, filmed sketch showcase. In addition the winning team will receive free postcard design and printing to promote the show, box office and house management staff the night of the event, as well as a 50% cut of the admission proceeds for the final showcase. After all three teams perform the audience will vote and the winner will be announced during our after-show BBQ.
Join us for a night of laughter, debauchery, and food/drink specials as we find out which team is the "Sketchy-est" of all, and survives in Sketchy LIC. Who is Performing? Sketchy LIC will be hosted by and feature the critically acclaimed Face Off! This inaugural performance will feature the sketch comedy teams:

New York audiences discovered Shakespeare’s earliest comedy, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, when Beyond Theatre Ensemble presented its seriously playful production for a limited engagement, this past August at The Secret Theatre. The production combined fine Shakespearian acting with the inventive spirit of improv comedy to create an explosively funny and poignant telling of this Shakespeare classic.

The Two Gentlemen of Verona is the story of two friends, Proteus and Valentine, and how growing up and growing apart affects their bond. The story follows Valentine as he heads to the court at Milan, discovers love, is betrayed by his friend Proteus, becomes the leader of a band of outlaws and finally resolves his relationship with Proteus. Joined by a colorful group of supporting characters and featuring Shakespeare’s first foray into a female character cross-dressing as a man, it is a story of friendship, love, loyalty and a dog named Crab.

Set in a futuristic comedic correctional facility, the audience decides who is eliminated by our live paintball firing squad, and who continues to perform at the whim of a deranged warden. Prison Night is a one of a kind, themed show where only the funny survive.

We make sure of it... Face Off is pleased to announce the addition of our children’s show The Lenguisa Brothers. These world renowned, albeit slightly over the hill circus sibling trio use their comic techniques to teach kids that any dream can be realized, so long as you never give up.
Have you ever had to make a decision?
Our Featured Broadway style production, Everyday Life, follows the journey of four ordinary guys, putting up they’re own comedy show. After rehearsing the big show stopping opening number, they realize that they forgot to write the rest of the script. With the help of the audience, they improvise their way through the show, discovering that life is improv.
